The study consisted of two components. Component I was a cross sectional observational study studied 579 mothers. Component 11 was a community based interventional study which assessed the effectiveness of the leaflet. Mothers were satisfied mostly with physical accessibility . satisfied area was the facilities available at the clinic (62.3 percent ). Missing of routine activities due to the clinic (p = 0.001), distance from home to the clinic (p=0.03) and the number of topics addressed under immunization (p=0.002) were the associated factors when considering overall satisfaction. The health education provision by a written leaflet with the routine health education significantly improved mothers’ knowledge with Odds Ratio 19.9 ( 5 percent CI 10.6 – 37.5) but it had not relation ship with satisfaction of the mother (p=0.92).
