Use of Statistics in Educational Research

Abstract

The use of statistics is not restricted to a specific subject. Effective statistics are more useful for understanding and reading scenarios and epilogue. Hence, this article attempts to provide a brief but essential direction for educational researchers and students who are interested in working with statistics but still hesitant, as they are bound by discipline-related misunderstandings of utilizing statistics in their research studies. With two basic aims, the article provides simple description to comprehend what statistics could do for beginners in educational research and what they ought to know in statistics before it is used and benefits of using statistics in educational research have been discussed.
