The changing face of pathology

Abstract

The discipline of ‘pathology’ as it is known today, derived its name from the two words ‘study’ which means ‘logos’ in Latin and of ‘suffering’ which means ‘pathos’. This study of suffering has been a very important branch of Medicine from ancient days.
