dc.description.abstractThe objective of this clinic based study were to determine the long term complications in type 2 diabetes and some selected risk factors among patients attending diabetic clinics and to compare the use of direct ophthalmoscopy and retinal photography in the detection of diabetic retinopathy. The study revealed that among the patients with type 2 DM attending clinics 20, had retinopathy 25.2, diabetic neuropathy microalbumineria and 12.4 coronary heart disease
