dc.description.abstractIn this dissertation researcher attempted to find out factors for sustainability of QC circle concept in six Sri Lankan manufacturing organisations. She invites the reader to understand the QC circle concept, it's operations and specific problems faced by the Sri Lankan QC circles. In addition, this dissertation tackles negative factors of present QC circle activities. Further, impact of human attitude towards participatory management also discussed in detail. The researcher has compared and identified the necessary changes, which could be implemented for sustainability of QC circles in Sri Lankan manufacturing organisations. Researcher believes that it is important to adopt this participatory management technique since it has a huge acceptance in the management field and this type of management tools shape up the future of the world management order.-
