dc.description.abstractA descriptive cross sectional study the availability of well women clinics and the sociodemograpic characteristics of the users of well women clinics in the Galle district.AllMOH divisions in the district have established at least one well women clinic with cervical screening facilities.A statistically significant difference was found in the clinic utilization rates between sinhalese and other ethnic groups (p0.01).On an average ,clinics were available within 4.5 Km from the client's residence.Among clinic users, the main source of knowledge on well woman clinic was public health midwife (64).
