A prospective randomized clinical traial was undertaken to compare conventional fractionation radiation therapy and an accelerated fractionation scheme in the treatment of T2 lesions of the buccal macosa.I conclude that accelerated fractionation radiation therapy is an attractive alternative to the existing does-time -fractionation in the treatment of T2 carcinomas of the buccal macosa.
